I've never much liked the interface, and have long thought that the functionality was over-rated, but I used it because I had an iPod. Unfortunately 9 downloaded and installed itself the other day, just before I tried to upload my music to my new iPod Touch. It is now more than 24 hours later and I have yet to get things loaded onto the new pod. iTunes 9 freezes constantly. It often locks up my whole system. I've had to disable my firewall and virus protection to even allow it to boot up. It's been a nightmare.

I'd downgrade in a hot minute if I could find 8 somewhere. Once I get my iPod loaded -- if I ever do -- I don't plan to use iTunes 9 again unless I absolutely have to.
