By now you've learned that most Apple software is eye-candy. Of course, iTunes is no exclusion. iTunes is for the music collector who really likes to organize his music and give it album covers and specific details. Not to mention you have to use it if you have iPod. If you don't care so much for organization and aren't using an iPod i would suggest some other software because iTunes has kind of strict rules and gets troublesome when certain items can't sync.

Specific to iPod
Has some syncing problems
